FAQ's C. Credibility & Quality
Q: How reliable are the results?
A: The results
are very reliable. Care is taken at every
step to guarantee reliability, from the time you register, to the draw site phase, to the
transportation, to the lab analysis, to the review that all reports receive before they
are sent on to you. Further, recall that all
results come from a reference laboratory. Reference
labs are regarded as providing the most consistent quality and accuracy.
Q: Why does your company operate using a PO Box? That concerns me.
A: With a rapidly
growing business, physical addresses change. In
order to provide stability and consistency for our clients YFH chose to use a PO Box
rather than repeatedly changing physical addresses.
Q: Since normal ranges dont necessarily
translate into good health, how did you determine the Optimum Ranges in my HealthPrint?
A: Optimum ranges are determined by considering your
height, weight, age, gender, health history other blood test scores, and comparing them to
a database of clients who have tested with similar characteristics.
Q: Does YFH sell products or endorse any particular
brands of supplements?
A: No. YFH does not sell or get paid in any way for
products. YFH is a testing company without
conflicts of interest.
Q: Why should I believe your results are any more
accurate than other places?
A: YFH takes
extra steps to ensure accuracy. These steps
include crosschecking the identity of the person being drawn (up to three different ways),
barcode labeling all tubes at the draw site with client-specific labels, following the
progress of the pickup from the collection site through the specimens transportation
to the lab, having a reference lab do the analysis, using a single-sited central analysis
center for all samples, having results from the lab electronically transmitted (to avoid
data entry errors) and having qualified staff check all reports for accuracy.
Q: Does your company do hair, urine, and/or saliva
analysis?
A: No. We never have.
YFH believes that blood is the best vehicle for preventive testing.
Q: What is a central analysis center? Why is that important?
A: Having a
central analysis center instead of labs scattered across the country gives YFH much more
control over the testing and reporting process. Equipment,
procedures, computer systems, and people are much more consistent than would otherwise be
possible when using regional labs. All this
helps ensure accuracy. The job of introducing
the very best technology is also made much easier with a central analysis center. |
