FAQ'sI. Test Result Info
Q: Will you call my doctor to report the results of
my tests?
A: No. Your results are yours and yours alone. We do not share them. It is your responsibility to share your test
information with your doctor or other health professional.
Q: How long does it take to receive my results?
A: Fifteen to
eighteen
business days after your blood is drawn. If
you can have your blood drawn early in the week it will typically speed up the process by
a couple of days.
Q: Can I take the results to my doctor for a
diagnosis?
A: Yes. We
encourage you to take your Personal Normal Tracker and Official Lab Results with you when
you visit your doctor. Clients generally find
that doctors do not have the time to study and understand the Health ScoreCard and
therefore they dont take anything other than the Personal Normal Tracker and the
Official Lab Result reports.
Q: I am nervous about doing the VAP test because I
dont want to find out I have a genetic risk that I can do nothing about. What should I do?
A: The
wonderful thing about the VAP test is that it is able to make measurements that could not
be made before. These measurements enable
clients to receive suggestions about the specifics of any problems whether they are
genetic, exercise or diet related and what to do about them. Although genes cannot be changed, their expression
can be with the information gained from doing the VAP test.
Q: Will I be able to understand the results of my
tests?
A: Your HealthPrint test results include a Health
ScoreCard. The Health ScoreCard has
columns that make specific suggestions that work in conjunction with your YFH Guide to
help you understand the results of each test. Further,
our most recent customer satisfaction survey showed our service to be so easy
easy-to-understand that less than 1 out of 5 clients said they call us for help with
understanding their results. |
